Giving to Get

Giving is a way to say thank you for the care you or a loved one received. It is also a way to ensure the best possible equipment is here for when you might need it.

WAYS OF GIVING

PATIENT CARE FUNDS

Donors often express an interest in giving to a specific area. For example, someone whose father received emergency treatment may like to say thank-you to this area of the hospital or a related unit, such as the lab.

Alternatively, some donors simply want to make an open gift. These gifts are known as undesignated gifts. This means the funds are applied to areas of greatest need by the Board and Administration of Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare.

In either case, all funds received by the HDMH Foundation are used to enhance patient-care, either through staff training, or capital equipment purchases.
