Making a Difference

There are many ways to support the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital with your contribution to the HDMH Foundation. Your hospital needs your help to continue to purchase state‐of‐the‐art equipment so our doctors, nurses and staff can give you the quality healthcare you deserve and expect.

Giving is a way to say thank you for the care you or a loved one received. The giving possibilities are limitless. Your creativity matched with the Foundation's 25 years of development expertise ensures that your philanthropic intent and the HDMH Foundation mission are both achieved.

Donors often express an interest in giving to a specific area. For example, someone whose father received emergency treatment may like to say thank‐you to this area of the hospital or a related unit, such as the lab. Alternatively, some donors simply want to make an open gift. These gifts are known as undesignated gifts. This means the funds are applied to areas of greatest need by the Board and Administration of Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare. In either case, all funds received by the HDMH Foundation are used to enhance patient‐care, either through staff training, or capital equipment purchases at Huntsville Hospital.

Gifts may be contributed through cash, money order, cheque, credit card or security transactions. Support may also be given through planned gifts such as life insurance proceeds and bequests.
