What is the connection between Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare and the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital Foundation?

Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare is the organization created through the amalgamation of Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH) and South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH) in Bracebridge. There are two Foundations that are part of Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare.
The Huntsville District Memorial Hospital Foundation continues to support HDMH while the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation continues to support SMMH.
The individual sites that make up the newly‐amalgamated organization will maintain their names as part of the larger group. For example, the hospital in Huntsville is now referred to as, Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare ‐ Huntsville District Memorial Hospital Site.
